Older CZ Pistol

I have recently acquired a CZ pistol and need some help to identify it and establish
it's age and any other information available on it.
It appears to be of European (CZ) manufacture and is stamped w/7.65 which I assume is the caliber.
Other markings are as follows:
MDL50CZECH
CAl ALB VT 
NA'R PODNIK STAKONICE

Sounds like you have a Czech VZ50 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vz._50

Try "Narodni Podnik Strakonice" (National Company Strakonice) on a search engine.
