Cgw milling

Does anyone know if CGW uses an adapter plate to mount the optic on after milling?

Well, CGW does know for sure. I would call them and ask.

Just a question that popped into my head at work on a Saturday. Was wondering if anyone knew off the top of their head. I plan to call them during the week. Thanks.

Probably best, since it might depend on the firearm, or the optic.

Depends on the firearm and sight.  They milled my PCR for direct mount of a 507K-X2.
Used a plate with integral rear sight to mount a 507c on my S-01 Tactical.

I had them mill one of my Shadow 2 slides, but did not want a plate. So didn't look into if they offer them or not. CZC does have plates, and even a steel one now. Which is something I'd advise you about if you're going with a plate. Get a steel one. Threads can pull too easily on the alum plates.

Hi, Steve, those are some beautiful pics, thank you. I have contacted CGW and in my specific case, I will have to get it re-milled. Thanks to all for the help in resolving my inquiry.
