P-09...two different style serrations?
« on: December 05, 2017, 11:43:16 AM »
Came across a P-09 in the shop today with some serrations that, to any of our memory, we've never seen before. I asked Stuart at CZC if he had ever seen such a thing, and he hasn't either as far as he can recall. Is this a random batch CZ did this way? Some limited edition? I need answer here. Lol As you can see, the second pic has totally different serrations, which are considerably more aggressive than the standard serrations in the top pic.

Is that a solid firing pin retaining pin?  Looks solid, vs. the hollow roll pin pictured in the top slide.

Also looks like the sights are different, as well.

And no, I've not seen any that looked odd at the gun shows.
I just keep wasting time and money on other brands trying to find/make one shoot like my P07 and P09.  What is wrong with me?

My P-09 is FDE manufactured in 2014 and it has the beveled slide serrations, however my P-07 in black also manufactured in 2014 does not have the bevel. Could it by that the only the FDE has the bevel????

That would be weird, but interestingly enough this customer does have an FDE frame... Maybe it is in fact an FDE only thing.

No, I have one here, in hand. I can assure you, it doesn't just look beveled, they are 100% different serrations.

LOL, that must be my slide you are talking about.

As far as I can tell, the only other difference in description other than color is "NS", CZ P-09 9MM 4.53" NS FDE 19RD.

Buds actually still have these in stock.
