CZ 82 Original Grip Screw Questions
« on: May 15, 2022, 03:59:04 PM »
Did the early CZ 82 pistols come with straight or Phillips head grip screws? I've seen references that suggest the screw is the same as that used on the CZ 75, is this correct?

Thank you!

My two 83s and my 75 Compact came from the factory with phillips-head grip screws.  My milsurp refurbished vz 82 came with flat-head grip screws.  I believe 82/83 and 75 grip screws are interchangeable.  The 75 magazine rubber base pad fits the 82/83 magazines, which means mag widths are the same.  So, grip screws for either platform shouldn't be long enough to impinge on and bind a magazine.
