I try to avoid getting a tax refund.   I can't stand giving the government a zero interest load of my money.

That said, I picked up an SP-01 Shadow 10 days ago.

Next on the list is some variant of the P-07 or P-01.    I need Trijicon to come out with their HD sights for CZ first.   Those sights are good enough I'm not willing to replace my G19 with a compact CZ.

Yes.  I'm in the "not so smart" group of people that loaned the federal government a few thousand dollars at 0% interest.  But hey, they spend it so wisely  .

So, part of my new "assets" will go toward a RAMI BD 9mm.   Hasn't shipped yet.  But, I'm already getting excited!!

Truthfully, I really try not to get a refund at all
I'd rather owe (up to) $100.00 at the end of the year, then let those lazy loosers use my money, interest free, and then have to wait on them to "refund" what I have (been forced) to over pay ! 
It's hard to do (kinda like winning both "Final Showcases") but I'd rather use that money during the year to cover my own budget....something THEY can't seem to figure-out

Ditto on this one. My $7 refund went to a Chick-Fil-A Spicy Deluxe combo... yum~~~

My older daughter is getting married in June.  Besides, I just bought a tikka sporter and an HK VP9, both stone cold winners.  I love when that happens.

I bought a HK P30L LEM.  Love mine too.  It came as a v1 variant with 4.75 # trigger.  I changed springs to convert it to v2 ata about 6.5 #. 
How is the trigger on the VP9?

My tax refund makes me feel less guilty about what I bought last year.

If it weren't for mortgage interest, real estate tax and charitable donations, my refund would be small.
But the return is used for house improvements...this year, new doors and if enough left, perhaps exterior paint after the front door install.

Getting new windows would be a bigger wish...just have to save my extra pay for those (10 total, 8 being the same size).

Now my Q4 bonus in the other hand (with a year-end true-up) is going to hit Monday...might splurge on a Scorpion EVO if I can order one or a VEPR 7.62x54R
