Title: P10C optic ready PICS
Post by: ctxcummins on October 20, 2018, 02:34:05 PM
Edit: updated with CZ-USA info in post below!

This isn't exactly new news, but CZ's official Instagram posted these photos earlier today.

I want able to find anything new from CZ-USA, but hopefully we're getting close to a release.

I've been holding off on buying a P10C because I've been waiting for this to come out.(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20181020/20dccc02838839ee2f263a8a44d2d24c.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20181020/12f4041c40175616ec0d962f2b91e421.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20181020/a684183b78d9fd2977fc8fb677ae85ce.jpg)

Thanks for sharing. I'm not getting any younger and the red dot is the way to go for old eyes. I hope they do the 07 and 09 as well.

why wait for CZ to make an Optics ready. Buy one and send it to primary machines.

Is also like to see the P-10 grip/stock on the P-07/09 as well.

I'd prefer Optic rear of irons on on a dedicated red dot carry gun but you can't knock them for the balanced approach

I was rather surprised to see the S model coming with optics ready plate - who puts a red dot on a BUG? But hey, still looks like a great BUG!

I actually think an optic on a bug could be great. Gain back some distance accuracy lost with the short sight radius. Walther did it with the PPS, I'm surprised it hasn't caught on. I think if Shield could improve the durability of their mini RDS or Trijicon could make a smaller RMR it would be perfect.

Same here. I would have expected them to put the rear sight on the plate so we'd have the option.

Wow, am I DISAPPOINTED!  They removed the ambidextrous mag release!  Maybe I'm the only one.  Sure glad I bought one 4 months ago.  You'd think they'd at least keep it as an option.  I was waiting for the optics ready version, now I'll definitely send mine out for milling.

I'm sure there will be plenty of oem ambi's on the market when people start swapping for these.

Got tired of waiting for the P10C with optic.

Bought a Walther PPQ Q4 Tac. Takes my existing Vortex Venom perfectly. Also has three backstraps and a different spring for a suppressor.

Does anyone know any suppliers that have them available? I've been checking GunBroker and my local shop and no one seems to be able to order them yet.

Seems like a 2019 release. I haven't heard anything specific though

With the Glock MOS system, I've seen people say that it's more of a jack of all trades, and while you can mount an RMR to it, it won't be as secure as milling a slide specificially for an RMR. I wonder how the optics ready P-10C compares to milling a slide for the RMR. I would assume that having it milled is better, but the real question is how much better?
