Post by: brodyb1 on October 25, 2018, 01:51:41 PM
Hello,

I just inherited a CZ 85, I was wondering if any of the experts here could give me more details on the it. I keep seeing Type A,B etc. on the forums but I'm about to post it for sale and want to give an accurate description.

Thanks!

Early production 85 . No firing pin block and spur hammer, rounded trigger guard, staked front sight, small mag release button. Was the original owner stationed over in Europe before the wall fell ? Most of those early 85's were brought back buy guys stationed over there '86-'91-ish . They're very nice shooting pistols, and worth holding onto. Get a new set of Lok grips for it and you'd be very happy with it.
