Title: For the old Milsurp Fans - Vintage Multi gun match Dec 8th in talladega AL

vintagemultigun.com (http://vintagemultigun.com) for more info and previous videos.
The vintage multi-gun match is Dec 8th at the CMP in Talladega. WWII era (and prev) pistol rifle and shotgun. Portion of the proceeds will go to a veterans fund. Will be setup like a USPSA style with WWII battle props/stages. It's about as close to the MOH games that civilians will ever get. Lots of garands, mosins, carbines and such in the racks - would be awesome to see some old czs in use too. Separate divisions for Semi-auto and bolt guns. If you don't have a WWII era pistol or shotgun, you can use stock new age pump-shotty and 1911s. The CMP will have a garand to use on one stage, a 1911 on another and an 870 will be there for the shotgun trail/stage.

Come run the old guns! Let me know if you are going and we will catch up and talk about czs!

This is awesome...I wish we could have this in Australia! ;D

As the owner of a (ridiculous) number of milsurps lol I would totally be in this (if we could)

Would have to be SMLEs and maybe some Swede carbines to flesh out the Mosin contingent (semi autos being illegal here so bolt actions only)

1911s however would be out...38 cal max only. So CZs would be perfect (although extremely rare so alas unlikely)

I have no words. . .God Bless America! :o

Running actual bayonets is not only allowed, but encouraged as it adds a level of historic accuracy to the match.

Well, this match got cancelled due to weather - near freezing, constant rain all day. We will run another match in 2019.
There were many other matches across the state cancelled that weekend as well. As one of the stage RO's I was ready to embrace the suck, but having older gentlemen run around in mud puddles with vintage war relics, while trying to score on tablets and stay safe didn't really seem like it would produce a great outcome.

There were some matches at the CMP that were held that weekend, but they had full cover pavilions.

I will post here again when it comes time next year.
