I am kinda new at the CZ Forum, and to the pistols themselves. I recently bought a CZ 75D PCR and later bought a Kadet kit for it. I have two questions that maybe someone out there could answer:
1) I am using the PCR slide stop because the Kadet stop locked up the slide. The PCR stop does not provide last-round hold open capability. Is there a fix for this?
2) The Kadet magazines protrude from the bottom of the PCR magwell. Are there magazine bases available that would be shorter to eliminate this?
Many thanks!
Tim

There's definitely a fix for the mags. Just get compact mag bases. http://shop.cz-usa.com/ProductDetail/0430377001_Magazine-Base-10-Rd-Compact
Don't know why your slide stop won't lock back. That PCR stop is the only one that will work in a PCR, or P-01. Maybe call CZ and ask.

Agree with Painter 100%
I?d call CZ USA, the slide should lock back.
On a side note, I thought the newer Kadets were being shipped with both the Kadet and Kadet/PCR slide stops?
Maybe I?m remembering wrong.
Oh, and welcome to the forum.

Welcome to the Forum BA
With the Upper removed, but the Slide Stop installed fully; insert a KADET Magazine
Note how the Follower and the Slide Stop interact
The Follower should be "trying" to lift the Slide Stop
If the Slide Stop doesn't touch the Follower, the issue is the Slide Stop
If they touch, but the Follower doesn't lift the Stop, then it's a Spring issue
The KADET Mag Springs, are the Mag Spring .... nothing you can to do there
That leaves the Slide Stop Spring
You can try a couple things:
Insert the Slide Stop from the Right Side, just enough to get the end under the Spring
Rotate the Stop several times to "loosen" the Spring a bit
Sounds funny, but this works most times
OR, take a round File to the Spring Notch in the Long End of the Slide Stop
File the hard corner off of the rear of the Notch

If all else fails .... call CZ-USA
Hope you get it working correctly soon
