Picked up a CZ P10c and went to range.
Found the slide release and magazine release to be VERY difficult.
Not novice to pistols and without a doubt the most difficult releases to manipulate.
Is this unusual and will they loosen up with use??

My P10c was the same. Ran it hard at the range and it loosened right up. Runs like a champ now.

I just picked one up and was thinking the same - I saw where someone polished the slide stop and that helped with the slide release as well others have done the same with the mag release. However I have heard that is will loosen up as well with use.

First I tried the ?just shoot it? break in method (3K-ish rounds), then I tried the ?polish it? method (made it somewhat better), finally I bit the bullet and ordered the Apex Competition Mag button (extended). I should have just skipped the first two and gone straight to #3.

I did a bit of polish work on my first P10C and it loosened up immediately. On my second, I just shot it in and within the first 300 rounds, both were fine. They are now to the point where they represent what I think all pistols should feel like.
