Title: Recoil Spring for Tanfoglio Limited 9mm question
Post by: Litespeeds on December 04, 2018, 01:34:11 AM
I have a Tanfoglio Limited in .40S&W and recently bought a replacement bull barrel in 9mm. I am having some failures to eject and most likely because the recoil spring is too heavy.  Do you know what weight spring that I will need to get?   Anyone know what the factory recoil spring weights are for the Limited in 9mm and .40S&W?

Standard Factory Spring weights for the Full Size 9mm Tanfoglio Witness Pistols run 14/15 lbs and that is what I would recommend for standard power 9mm ammunition.
If you are running Minor Power Factor Target Loads, perhaps a Wolff Recoil Spring Calibration pack would be best to experiment with.

Which bull barrel did you buy for your limited? That sounds like a great route for my Witness Match.

Thanks!
