I just ordered a CZ 512 American in 22WMR. This one has a black polymer stock set and a 16" threaded barrel with no iron sights. I purchased it to bridge the gap between 22LR and 223Rem. I'd expect shots between 50yds and 200yds on my property with 100yds being average. I need to put a scope on this rifle, but I honestly don't know anything about rimfire scopes. The only one that I have is a cheap Chinese 4X that's on my Ruger 10/22. I did some internet searching and found that 11mm base rings are not so common. People had both good and bad things to say about the factory CZ rings, so I figured that I'd hold off on them until I decide on a scope. I know this is pretty open ended, but I'd appreciate suggestions on both rings and scopes.

This dovetail to picatinny mount might be of interest to you.

I have tried a few options with my CZs: Warne rimfire rings (QD) mounted directly on dovetail, DIP rail, and finally settle on cheapo B-Square dovetail-to-Weaver adaptor.
The B-square does not add much height and it is tighty-tight! I can use regular weaver QD rings on my scopes, and swap scopes among my rifles (centerfire included) with ease.
These B-Square are cheap, give them a try, throw them away if you don?t, nothing to lose ... but I think you?ll be happy.

As for scope, there are plenty good scopes out there at all price ranges. How much do you want to spend?

Lots of good options out there. I recommend looking at the Leupold 3-9x33 EFR and BKL 257 rings :D

Plus 1 one the Leupold 3-9x33 EFRs. Very versatile optics.
