While I wait for my Zev/CGS Kraken suppressor to get approved, I'm stocking up on some 9mm subsonic ammo.
Is there some subsonic ammo that shouldn't be fired in a hand gun (only a rifle)? I was leaning towards Fiocchi 158 gr but read about some 147 gr. I want to purchase the proper ammo for the UG.
Any recommendations to be used in the UG? I'll be shooting primarily at an indoor range and occasionally outside at a ranch.
What's recommended for defensive/home use?
Thanks for any suggestions.

It is my understanding that any 9 mm ammo with a muzzle velocity under 1100 ft/sec is subsonic. Almost all 147 gr ammo loaded to standard pressure will be subsonic while 124 gr ammo loaded to standard pressure will be borderline subsonic or supersonic.
