Schultheis Sporting Goods on GunsInternational site has listed LNIB CZ 85 in matte blue for $525 + $35 shipping. This is the only blue one I have seen recently. Someday I would like to have a factory blue one but this is not the time for me, bought 2 CZ's that I have not received yet . I think this is a good deal, opinions please. Someone buy it so I can quit looking at it. No its not a combat or I would have it coming my way

If anyone is looking for a CZ 85 this would be a good puchase (in my opinion). I'm personally not looking to add to the CZ collection at present !

This is a CZ 85 B and it date marked 94?. CZ history in frequently asked questions says first B models in 95. This may be the earliest B.

Thinking I would make an offer on this one. I called Schultheis to verify the blue finish , asked if it stated blue or matte on the warranty card or label, found out small letters on label - polycoat. CZ's are not their normal thing so I can understand

It sounds that that they have no general knowlege! CZs aren't the only blued (or polycoat) samples in existence, lol.

Most gun dealers haven't a CLUE of the difference between Polycoat and blue which is a universe of difference. CZs remain in somewhat of a cult status. Even well known" reviewers say dumb things about them.
If it is a B model, it is WAY overpriced. I'd rather have a new B than an old 85 - I don't need the ambi controls. If you are a lefty it might matter.
