Title: P01 decocker reset
Post by: tjwolf on February 01, 2019, 02:47:34 PM
Need help, I installed new cgw reduce power reduce trigger spring and floating trigger pin. Now it will not reset.  It looks like trigger bar is high close to frame rail. I  Watch many u- tube videos on how to install trigger spring and floating trigger pin.  Don't know what I did wrong but need help please. Thanks

Are you sure the trigger return spring is seated correctly?

I always have a really difficult time getting that little booger back in correctly. If it's not, it won't have any tension and the trigger won't reset.

Whatever it is, don't stress. Its reversible. Just reassembly issue.

No. It's pretty straightforward. The biggest thing to remember is to make it a habit of removing all the pins from right to left. This is especially important with the decocker pin. If you push it out of the right side, it will widen the hole in the frame and the pin will no longer stay in place. You will need to have the frame staked.

So just remember, push pins out of the left side.
