I guess if you want the military receiver you gotta pay to play now but $2,600.00 that?s nuts!
That?s $1,000 more than what I paid just a few months ago!

A lot of money considering what you paid but they are pretty much made of unobtainium now...I'm sure the buyer will be satisfied when all is said and done! It will prove to be a rare piece.
I'm curious about the numbers break down of of how many in which caliber and what barrel lengths comprised the original 300...Probably never know.
-
From the picture, it appears that this was one of the first 300 Bren 2's brought into the US that features the full length fore end. CZ somehow managed to import just 300 of the Bren 2's in the military configuration with the full length fore end. lI'm sure that's what accounts for this high price. The first 300 were snapped up almost instantly.
Reportedly the Bren 2's coming next will have a modular fore end that can be replaced with longer/shorter versions to cover up a can or to allow for a longer barrel. Until supply catches up with demand, I'm sure the first Bren 2's to hit the US will be sold at a premium price, but as production catches up prices should go down.

I?m hoping the 300 military receiver versions will hold some value. Maybe I should stop shooting mine so much. It may be the first worthwhile investment In my life lol 😜

Yeah, it has to be better than that bitcoin I bought at $15,000 ;-)

Saw an 8" on tacswap a couple days ago and seller was asking 1650. Would've jumped on it if it posted a few days earlier because I just bought a new 805 for a few hundred less.
Oh well; saved money to put towards a Tommy built t36c.

There is another one on GB 8in 5.56mm. 2,200$ reserve not met. But it now 3,000$. Freaking nuts. I paid 2400$ OTD for a 14in on GB a month ago. I had to have her.

bleep I think I would have to let mine go for $3,000.00 to be honest. I love it and it?s my favorite but no semi auto is worth that much to me.
-
The value of a semi or any type of action is what the market will bear. I have never lost a dollar buying expensive guns but the point was not to pay big bucks for anything rather buying guns of value for the best price I could find - sometimes looking for more than a decade.
There are a lot of rifles over 3k, do a Gun Broker search sometime for all rifles by price and sort by cost. Some will surprise you because of their unique appearance and others will under whelm you but for everyone some type of gun holds a niche.
3k is note much to spend on a good rifle as 10k or 30k is not much to spend on something of value and that is desired.
The most I've paid was 21k for a semi, I chose to sell it to help finance a divorce, the sad part was selling it but it brought 35k in return. As I said I've never been hurt by buying high end guns.
I see people post all the time about you don't need anything more than a $350 AR - anything else is a waste of money and indicates a lack of intelligence. I'd say to each his own opinion.
I doubt the latest Bren 2s on Gun broker will go for for the full 3k, but it could. Who ever gets it will do okay in the end, in my opinion.
I was not in a position to buy the Bren 2s when I did, still working on the divorce finances but I thought it would be of value, I got in late at less than 2k. I would have paid more if needed because it was heavy on the "want" part of value.
I've never bought a gun to speculate on and until the divorce I had only sold or traded 2 or 3. Fortunately, the higher price guns I've bought appreciated at a rate that the 1k guns have not. So I think there are a lot of semi autos that are worth more than 3k, I make sure I am not overpaying according to my want meter and I've never been hurt yet. Honestly, I have not met a gun I don't like!

Hey can?t blame a guy for trying to get 3k 🤷🏽???

I you have an item that is in very limited supply and high demand, and you sell this item for a price for which you are willing to sell AND the public is willing to pay, more power to you. 8) 8)

Wild at Heart
Sailor - "This is a snake skin jacket and for me it represents a symbol of my individuality and my belief in personal freedom."
Ever see the strange movie Wild at Heart with Nicholas Cage? Next to wearing a snakeskin jacket or voting, participating in the free exchange of money for goods and services is one of the greatest expressions of liberty in a society.
If you don't believe me, think of what it feels like to have a few spare dollars in your pocket (or in this case $3,000). The possibilities are endless and you have the power to accept the offer or reject it and find a better deal.
Buy it now and enjoy having an experience others don't. Wait a year, and wonder why anybody would ever pay more than $2,100. Perhaps snatch up a bargain with the Bren 805 or invest the money and buy one of each in the future.
The choice is yours and the power is in the individual.

The Bren 2s on Gun Broker just went for $2,500. It started at $2,200 and had a buy now of $2,700.

I?m sure the buyer will be satisfied!
Hopefully you will be able to replace it with a Bren 2 Ms sometime this year if you wish!

Congrats.
