My second holster produced by forum member Alex and it will not be my last.
After much correspondence, this one-off OWB holster was made for my newly acquired stainless 75B.
Professional photographer I am not and sorry for the poor color rendition (artificial lighting)

That on is really good looking! I don't have one of his - yet.
Everyone speaks highly of his holsters and they always look really good.
And hey, that's what it's about, you gotta LOOK good!!
-
Why would you put an awesome gun in a crappy holster?
I can't figure it out.

Thank you double D for posting a pic of your new holster!! For those fallowing along ..that guy is actually a dark cordovan similar to the one I posted with the Flag. It goes from darkest at the ends to lighter near the design panel. The decorative part is oxboood, Mahogany and black so the initials pop and I added a touch of black around the edges of the straps and holster ... Just cause :)
I stitch the straps to keep them from stretching and just because I think it looks more finished. Double D's is a double layer so .. he should be able to pass it on to grandkids!!
Thank you to everyone who has trusted me to make them something neat!!

The first two pics in post wasn't a good rendition (bright artificial lighting), they were posted more to show quality of work.
As mentioned above, this was ordered double layered to support a stainless 75, the inner layer orientated smooth side towards the pistol.
After sending Alex a dyed piece supplied by my belt maker, he went about shading this holster to catch the color of my new buffalo hide belt.
These two pics more accurately reflect the final product (pistol is not fully seated in first pic)

Alex, the holster is really a piece of art. May I know how long will it take you to make one like this?

Thank you Ray for your kind comments. Unfortunately I am no longer taking prepaid custom orders I am still producing holsters and will put some up from time to time but my lead times kept getting longer and I just didn't like hanging on to peoples money. Just a retired guy who enjoys leatherwork and makes a few a month.

That's some beautiful work.

Wow beautiful holster

Yep, Alex went well out of his way producing this piece for me. Being OWB, I constantly receive nice comments on it at the range.
I highly recommend members picking up his "standard" versions when available. All of his holsters are top notch and his IWB holster like the one below is where I house my compact.

Understood. Enjoying work-life balance is really important, though it's a shame that you don't take prepaid custom orders.
