So like the title says I was playing around seeing how this combo would look with a brake and well now it?s stuck. Not sure how to get it off and it?s not like a Glock so I?m confused

Maybe contact CZ or a Gunsmith.

Hiya Horribleaim and thx for the thread. I got a similar idea with my Tanfoglio and tried it on po-2,shadow,and 75b frames...two outa three didn't get jammed on tho. I just kept at it till one combination of push, pull, drop,or tug worked. Do repost when ya solve the problem,I don't want anyone having trouble sleeping not knowing. Cheers
Gonna be a long night then lol

I removed the striker and still stuck... I tried to stick something in the frame to push down the slide release spring but there isn?t enough of a gap to do it.
-
I'm thinking you might want to contact CZ.
-
🥺 my pride says I can figure it out but all logic says you?re right.

Stick in freezer over night? Then try? Soak in a bowl or motor oil first, then bag and freeze? Grasping at straws. Tap with rubber mallet. ...
-
Ahh, pride.... the root of many a broken thing. I agree with the above suggestion to call CZ-USA. They may even get a kick out of the question, I'll bet that your situation does not occur that often.

You are probably going to have to pull down the take down tabs pretty hard and smack the back of the slide with a dead blow mallet. Or possibly take out the take down plate and try to get it off.

So I got it off, the recoil spring gets stuck in a notch right in front of the take down lever. Now the guns going back to cz because while test firing it I was having a dead trigger, sluggish reset and some issues when I took it apart again. I do have an HB industries trigger show so I?m not sure if that with the 3 lbs striker spring is doing it but idk. Thoughts?
-
i would suspect possibly damage from the improper assembly, and CZ will probably cover it under warranty.
-
When I first got a HBI trigger I out the lighter 3 pound striker spring in. I was having reset issues. I wasn?t sure if the striker spring was to light or if the sides of the trigger were rubbing the opening in the frame. I took a small file to the sides of frame the trigger goes through and I also went up to the 3.5 spring. Never had an issue with reset after that. I would put the factory springs back if you decide to send it back to CZ. David

I'd suggest making it stock before sending it back.
-
I'm not sure what you could have done wrong, because we have done an S model on C frame and it operated/shot fine. Got it off like normal after as well.
-
Perhaps try knocking the pins out of the front frame insert and raising the slide enough to get to the slide lock spring or whatever else may be in the way? I know you can't remove everything without getting the take down lever out, but maybe you can get enough clearance to free it up?

Hate to slightly necro post but did you ever get the slide off?
