I've been shooting my P-09 for a few years now and it has been my favorite pistol for a while. Starting shooting my P-07 more recently and I can't believe I'm saying this but...I might possibly like it even more than my P-09. Accurate, ergonomic and nicely balanced.

The P07 is one of the best overlooked pistols out there. The .40 flavor has been my favorite EDC for a while now. It leaves nothing to want in a carry gun.

You wouldn't be the first one to say that. The P07 just seems to hit the 'sweet spot' in many ways. Definitely my favorite carry pistol, by far.

CZ pistols themselves are the most underrated, and overlooked pistols on the market.
From what I've seen in videos and read in articles, every person that handles one from the first time it shocked.

I stopped by the LGS on my lunch break earlier and almost ordered a P-07. Thier vendor only had the tactical or California models available and I'm looking for an EDC. I may just have to try another shop after work... I've got the CZ itch and you all aren't helping. Is there a CZ addict anonymous?

I agree 100% with all of you guys. It has everything you could want in a carry gun, except possibly good set of night sights. I ordered Night Fisions for mine. If the OD green frame looks good (I haven?t seen one in person yet), I?m thinking about adding one of those to the collection.

P07 is great! I had one a couple years ago and sold it off. Was not happy I did a few weeks later. Got an OD green frame 9mm last year and love it. Had to take a couple trips back to CZ due to dead front night sight when new, but good to go since. I have added some CGW parts that I feel are needed and really enjoy it.
I must say though, as for just shooting enjoyment, my P09 UG SR tops it.

Yes the p07 is awesome, but there is something special about how the P09 shoots!
-
Right now I only have one pistol that outshoots my P07 - the P09 9MM.
But the P07 remains my EDC.

My P07 with an Inforce PLc is my EDC appendix weapon. I have retired all my M&P's and 1911's. To me it's the perfect pistol.

I agree...the P-09 is an absolute tack driver. But it is a beast. The P-07 just balances so well and it's great as an EDC.

I have one in OD green with factory night sights.. Actually, the factory sights aren't bad..I'm sure there's better options out there, but these work, and work well, out of the box, my P07 was dead on, I've never touched the sights,( and barring anything happening to them, I don't plan to.) also, these are the brightest night sights I've ever seen..

I still like the way the P09 balances. And when you add grip tape or stippling it helps tremendously. The P07 'sticks' better in the hand because of the shorter grip length (which is not always the same for other guns). The P09 actually needs the better stippling more than the P07.
Too bad CZ does not acknowledge this and add some better stippling in their P guns. (a la P10).
