Just gauging what size everyone prefers. I picked up this pistol used a few days ago and have put 500 rounds through it without an issue. Seems to run great, but that double action is heavyyyyyy, lord. Single action is nice and light. I really like it overall. CZ makes great firearms, but the secret is out :o)

Try them all, best way to find out

I have fairly large hands but run it with the medium backstrap.

I wear the FIRST large size glove in a Mechanix glove.
I run a small. Why? I MIGHT shoot better with the medium, but I believe small is sufficient, allows me to really wrap and clamp hard on the grip, AND allows the best access to the mag release, which is critical cuz most guns use stupid button mag releases.

Small here as well on my P09 ans P07. For comparison I also run small on M&P M2.0 and Sig P320.

I have medium hands, but definitely prefer the large back strap.

Thx for the input. If anyone has a small they don?t use I?ll purchase it . I bought this pistol with just the medium backstrap.

Hiya Robstercrew and thanks for your thread. I assume ya bought used as cz usually provides three backstops in the case. After 500 rounds surprised you didn't have any issue with what your hand felt like, with the different textures a hand encounters in the grip. I've heard good things about the Talon grip, the rubberized version vs the sandpaper one. Worth a try as most folks will want to keep all backstraps for resale reasons. And the operator mentioned the use of gloves, think I have 10 different sets of them and have several favorites, but one has to experiment to find the elusive best fit. When ya get to 25 posts might just post again looking for them,as your audience would be a tad larger. Be well.
