Title: CZ P10C slide stuck.

When I try to release the slide from the fram it moves forward about half way (back of slide stops between the slide relase tab and the disassembly plate button and magazine stop button.  I have disassembled and cleaned the gun 5-7 times without any issues.  Something is obviously catching the slide and blocking it from moving forward but I can't see what it is.  DJC

Had the same issue with my new p10s, I found out was was because I was pulling the slide back too far. Also make sure the trigger is in the reward position before trying to takedown.

If you put downward pressure on the takedown bar and start to pull the slide back you will feel when the takedown bar moves, at that point you can move the slide forward and off.

If you hear the sear reset on the striker and you are pulling back for takedown you have gone too far.

Thank you but still no luck.  I tried the procedures you posted but its still won't move forward all the way and release.  I can put the slide back into normal position and the pistol work normally but can't get slide to release.  DJC

The slide release spring is sticking up out of the frame and hanging on the slide disconnector notch.

Run a very thin feeler gauge or butter knife between the slide and frame.  As you slide it back it will push the spring leg down, then you can pull off the slide.

Newer P10c have a tab on the rail insert to prevent this.  You can get the updated part from CZ.
