Title: The sixth member of the family has arrived!
Post by: Scoose on March 24, 2019, 11:00:14 AM
I picked up this nice example of a Pre B transitional a few days ago. Rubber grips are on the way already. I don?t think that I will do anything inside yet. She seems to have a pretty good trigger and reset already!!

Can?t wait to get her to the range!!

I am still foggy on the Pre-B's and transitionals. Correct me if i a wrong here but this is a transitional because it has a new style pined front sight and also has an old style safety and slide stop. But then the trigger guard is not rounded, how dose that figure in? If there has been a guide to CZ Pre-Bs and transitional posted i would appreciate a link.

Gratz on number 6 Scoose, looks like a shooter!

Well actually you have pretty well summed it up. It seems you summed it up pretty well!!  Lol!!!
Transitionals are exactly the way it sounds...they were still making Pre B 75?s but they were making them with the differences you noted.

Someone a lot smarter than me will most likely pop in with much more info.

What makes this one a LITTLE bit different is that it was made in 1992

As far as a guide goes I have not seen one.
