Title: Full Auto Fun!
Post by: TRaGiK on March 25, 2019, 01:45:13 PM
Got to shoot a full auto gun for the first time ever yesterday, and it was a FA Scorpion. Man is it a ton of fun! Put 400 rounds through it in about 15 minutes. :D

The rate of fire seems pretty fast on that one.  Sounds like way over 850 rpm.

The owner of the gun just got the trigger pack a week or so ago.  He was told it should be good for around 1200 rpm. The ammo I brought to shoot was 147gr subsonic, so I suspect it was a bit slower than 1200, but it's still fast.

Extremely controllable as well. Far more so than I assumed it was going to be, and this was my first time shooting fa.

I'm used to shooting mine at around 800-maybe 825'ish.  About on par with an MP5.

Many 9mm subguns shoot between 650-700, but the ones (like the uzi) that shoot slow seem more "chuggish" from a lack of better explanation and just feel like they're moving around a lot more.

To me, around 800 rpm is about the sweet spot for 9mm.

I've seen some small m11's with blackjack buffers that run upwards of 1500 rpm, which is barely a burrrp and it's out.  Here's one video with a 50 round mag

Sweeeet. Wallet burner for sure. Looks like a glock 18 ripping off!
