I do like a blued finish ;D Many great re-finish examples in the forum...have a browse...might give you some options you hadn't considered!
-
You might as well reshape beaver tail.If I would refinish one of my guns,I would go with something like DLP or PVD or let?s say some finish that can be applied over high polished metal, would keep the shininess of the previously polished gun and give me a great rust resistance. Wouldn?t look tactical, but gorgeous.
-
How about rust blued?(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190504/de5cb69d9d1d2ac43c52442a27691554.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190504/a02446c163e4f3be5cada91a0c488039.jpg)

Hiya and thx for the thread. And hawker, thx for the pic we really don't see that bluing with the cz's much anymore. Prolly cause it needs to stay a safe queen to keep it that mint. Reminds me of a mint python I owned and it was worth visiting the safe just to look at it some days.
Since our thread started is going for a shiny gun, I'm kinda ehhh bout em, but lots of good custom shops will be glad to relieve ya of 500bucks. Be well.

This one?s the same vintage as yours. Refinished and upgraded a few years ago through CGW....blued, beaver tail sculpted, sights changed, Pro-package installed. The photo does not really capture the bluing. I know you specified blued but I also like brushed hard chrome which is more durable. Good luck with your project.

This is awesome!Wondering what is the cost of it,I think a price of a gun itself, may be more, unless you prep it yourself.

I never considered refinishing one of my 75s until I saw this. Beautiful

do some research on the various methods/finishes and then make a decision. Low hanging fruit.

It looks like a master blue job from Fords. When I had my Smith model 28 done it ran about $600.

Beautiful CZ, Puddintin.

The shinny gun is beautiful!!!
I recently had an old war horse redone to a beautiful new finish(especially if you saw her before)
CJ Maven http://www.cjmaven.com/ will do this for you very quickly and very reasonably. I can not recommend anyone with more confidence then him.
The grips have since been update for a cleaner look.

If your 75 had the polycoat finish from the factory, get ready for some work. I've refinished three or four guns that started out with the polycoat. That stuff is tough! It takes some effort to get it bead blasted off, and it covers up a lot of tool marks. I mean a lot of tool marks.
