Title: 9mm Tula vs Lapua and Nosler Match
Post by: Jolr on May 14, 2019, 02:06:39 PM
It is a commonly held belief that Russian steel cased ammo is, at best, good for blasting and at worst, junk ammo. It has been my experience that Tula is very accurate. I tested at 25 yards from a solid rest with my Tangfolio Limited Custom. I fired 10 groups with Tula, Lapua and Nosler Match. [glow

The main issue with Russian Steel Cased ammo is the laquer that coats it.

I was never impressed with the pistol ammo from Tula (not counting the Brass Maxx that was made by Fiocchi). For Russian steel case ammo, I like the Bears (Brown Bear & Silver Bear) a lot better. Silver Bear is my #1 choice in 9mm Mak.
