Any word on getting these out into stores yet?
-
Barely a trickle from what I am seeing. :(
-
It looks like a couple of the new Ms went to dealers close to Missouri. I?ve only seen two 7.62x39mm 9 inch of the new Ms. One was a dealer listing on Facebook a couple weeks ago and one sold on Gunbroker like last week for $2100. So maybe they?re starting to trickle in.

As of this afternoon, CZ is finalizing up a few things and they "could" be shipping in about 2 months.
With the scalping frenzy associated with the P-10S, I'm selling tickets to the main event on Gun Broker when the Bren2 carbines arrive.
-
oh dang CZ... another 2 months waiting...
-
My LGS just got one today.

I don't expect to see carbines for another year, I would think. :(

Indeed.

One listed on GB.
Just noticed pic is a little misleading. Details indicate a 14" barrel.

Hoping my dealer can get the 11" 5.56 in really soon.
-
Where can I find one? Seems the market has dried up on those.
-
It's dependent on what CZ-UB sends. Who knows what will be in the next shipment.
-
Cz told me it was shipping two weeks ago.. not a distributor in sight that has seen one.
-
I think two 7.62 X 39 " 8 & 14 inches " were on gunbroker 2 weeks ago if I am right. Hopefully, 556 in 8 will start showing up too.
-
Yeah if I don't see a 11" in 556 in a couple weeks I'm just gonna get something else.
-
Cricket. Cricket.
-
Please give us some carbines.......FDE and my money will be on the counter

CZ-USA posted a picture of the MS2 Carbine on Facebook of all places and asked how we liked them...if I HAD one I would tell you, in detail, with pictures and video. :D

Very much a taste of old Czechoslovak outlook/dark humor during the ?SSR? How do you like a product that you can’t even have yet, soudruha (comrade) Armoredmane? [emoji3]

I went ahead and spent my funds on other hardware. I'll check for a CZ Bren 2 in 6 months.

Cz Bren 2 11" for sale on Armslist for $2,200.
-
Seems there are some guys who bought them and are capitalizing on the delay by CZ in releasing the new Bren 2 Ms models and selling at a huge premium. Saw a couple for sale a few days back on gunbroker.com at $2,999 listing price. That is moving into the Scar 17 and APC 223 category.
-
Well CZ has absolutely F****3d the pooch on releasing these. Which tells me customer service and fixing any issues are going to just as tragic. May be a cool gun but I'm already pulling out on these. Even if my dealer sells them for 1,600.
-
Seems like end of year or Christmas time is the latest we can expect these. All the online dealers have already put up the CZ Bren 2 on their websites in anticipation. Either as 'Out of Stock' or 'Coming Soon'.
-
Never expect them then you will not be disappointed if they make it to the market.
This is a superior product, no doubt.
CZ USA or CZ as whole are not onboard with the release on this weapon.
Who could possibly say if this, Bren 2 MS or the Bren 2 BR will ever come to the market.
I am a proud proponent of CZ.
That said, they have screwed the brand name by mis-handling these releases.
Glad I got 1 of the 1st 300, and I will support future releases but with less enthusiasm than before.
Bad on you CZ.
-
I lived in Czechoslovakia until 1968. Everything was screwed up beyond belief. (That is what Democrats want USA to become!!). When I returned to visit in 80s, still under socialist regime, it was as if country was frozen in time, repression, zero progress in 20 years. Incredibly sad.
What you see with Bren 2 is only a minor glitch. CZ USA should not put new products in their annual catalog until available. Waiting 8, 12 or more months is absurd to American consumers and only damages CZ USA reputation.
-
Your are right mikec. They should never have put an item up in their catelogs and website without it being released first or coming with a couple weeks. That is really bad marketing. But then, CZ was never known for savvy marketing or good customer relations. Its just that their products happen to be built great for their price category and market themselves.
That being said, the American customer even though happy, will still suck up to them whenever they are released as long as the product is of a base minimum quality.
-
I hate to say it, but I have moved on. Love the design and ergonomics. But as a company and how they have handled the release vs availability. Forget it. Rather put my money into a company that stands behind a product than be, "behind in production and service".
-
Come on everybody,
This won't be the last time a product has been released late to market. Might I remind you that Microsoft notoriously stopped naming their Windows OS releases after years because they kept missing them.
Looks like Bren 2 actually meant Bren 2020 ;D
-
Remember the Sig MPX? LWRC SMG-45? Even Magpul Masada eventually made it to market (even as a Bushmaster). Just frustrating to wait year after year.
If those 300 Bren 2’s did not make it to US shores last year, I think our frustration wouldn’t be as bad. Are we as frustrated with them not releasing the Bren 2 BR? We also waited a year or two for the Shadow 2 Orange, didn’t we?
.

With current sitation(s) i just hope we have a chance to get a bren2 carbine ....cz better hurry up
-
HI!
Does anyone here knows what is the rifling of the Bren 2 rifle in 5.56mm? Also the rifling in the Bren 2 BR (7.62x51mm)? is there any other barrel size for the Bren 2 BR besides the 16"? Last: length for both rifles, Bren 2 in 14" and BR in 16" barrel, with extended stock and folded stock?
Thanks if somebody can help me!
-
Whoever goes to ShotShow, can you ask CZ why...

My Bren 2MS 8” (5.56) pistol is finally shipping. Will be here Friday then the 10 day waiting period that WA State now has. Well I waited this long, so I guess a few more days won’t hurt. At least I can look at it while I fill out my transfer paperwork.
-
When I was in Afghanistan I met some Czech professional badasses with 11.5" Bren 2's. I held one (of the rifles... not the soldiers), and I told the "owner" when I got back to America I was def going to buy one.
Then I come back to America and alas, my plans are thwarted.
-
Nont yet, Doc, the pistols are finally shipping in, slowly, but they are coming in. Rifles/carbines, I have no info at all.
-
11" is a must.
-
My LGS received their first B2 5.56 Pistol today, so here they come fellas! May try to run down in the morning and Czech it out in the flesh.
-
It’s an 8” model, no brace. Dodged a bullet there, had it been an 11” with a brace I’d have been in deep doodoo with the wifey ;D
May hold out for a carbine (until an 11 w/brace shows up, and I change my tune on a dime)
I have a Saint Victor Pistol already in 7.5”, and it’s the cats behind. Absolutely LOVE that pistol. I’ll hold out.
-
8 inch 5.56 on Gunbroker for less than MRSP by a dealer around my zone.
Dang! CZ really dropped the ball with that new handguard crap. Now I see why folks dropped big $$$ for the military version
-
I haven't had a chance to handle one, so I don't know if the forearm is that bad. I would bet that a better one comes or Manticore will produce one double quick. I also think that the delay had nothing to do with CZ-USA.
-
The MS handguards will be a good thing for 16" bbl carbines once longer handguards are available. Also, at least the M-lok slot is flush and not recessed.
I don't like the way the M-lok slots are recessed on the Bren2S that made it into the US. The short handguard area of this configuration really require goose-neck mounts for lights or IR lasers and the step up from the M-lok slot to the front screw blocks using an an M-lok mount. I'll probably have to mount a section of 1913 and put a light mount on that. I'd have been better off if my Bren 2 had just come with the 1913 rails instead, as then I'd be able to get the light/laser mounted farther forward. It's a shame the M-lok rails can't be flipped insode out so that M-lok mounts could get past the front screw.
-
I saw and a handled BREN 2 the shop last night (8 inch 5.56), it was really, really nice. Great trigger, I don't think I'd try to improve it. The handguard was totally fine, I don't see what the issue is? I'll wait for an 11 inch, but I'm really happy I finally got to see a BREN 2 up close and personal.
-
I see several BREN 2 MS in 5.56 starting to pop up on GunBroker ------ anyone know where the hell are the 7.62x39 ones ???????????
-
In the pipeline is all I can guess. :-\
-
They have been out there. 2 months ago my LGS had an 11” for sale. Did not stay on the wall long.
-
In case someone has been thinking of getting the Bren 2MS in 5.56, the 8" and 11" pistols at Gunbroker are getting below what I paid for my Bren 2S in Sept 2018.
.
-
Sweet, lower prices mean better supply.
