I hadn't shot my 75B in quite a long time so it went shooting with me yesterday.
I'd forgotten how great of a shooter it is. It was like rediscovering an old friend.

I wonder, sometimes, how that happens. I mean, you knew it shot good, you knew you liked shooting it and yet it gets set aside (for a time) while you shoot other stuff.
Then one day, you notice it, pick it up, remember how good it feels in your hand and take it shooting. And then, all over again, you're amazed at how well it shoots and how much you enjoy it.
Maybe that's what I'm doing right now messing with the M&P 5". Setting myself up for a day later in the summer when I grab that new CZ75B .40 S&W that's hasn't had a couple boxes of ammo through it yet and head to the range. The best shooting CZ I have is a P09 9MM that I haven't shot in a year or more. So many other guns to take to the range I just keep leaving the P09 at home.
I think, sometimes, some of us have (as my grandma used to say) more money than sense.

I know the feeling about not shooting a great gun for a while. In my case it has something to do with a challenge and shooting a gun very well until it's like shooting fish in a barrel. At that point, it's off to the next challenge or back to a gun that I don't shoot well. And I agree with your Grandma about the money thing, but you can't take it with you.

Agree with the sentiments posted above.
For me, I choose a different platform to shoot during the IDPA season- this season its a G43 for the BUG division. Last season, it was my CZ P01. A few years ago it was my P09. Thinking about using my DW TCP next season.
I simply enjoy the opportunity to run different guns in the game. While using only one can and will improve my proficiency with that particular gun, it can get a little boring for me.
