I have the stock CZ TRS. The legs are not an angle to each other, so the short leg is not pointing down relative to the long leg. I am stumped as to how to get the short leg into the space in front of the trigger. I have tried pushing it in with a screw driver. I don't want to use needlenose pliers to grab it and bend it into place, so there must be a better way. The trigger assembly is still in the frame in case that matters. Can any one give me a suggestion?

While there are a number of ways to complete the task, i always use a slave pin for this process. I position the TRS into the trigger and retain it with a slave pin and then position the Trigger into the frame and drive the slave pin out with the Trigger Pin. To flex the TRS into place in the trigger so that i can install the slave pin i use a pointed probe like dental tool but larger.
If you do not have a slave pin you can make one. It should be a smaller diameter than the Trigger pin and slightly shorter than the width of the trigger.
