The CZ 83 chambered in 9 Browning (aka .380 Auto) uses the CZ 82 magazine, which is designed to hold 12 rounds of 9 Makarov. The instruction manual for the 83 reports the mag capacity being 12 rounds, but 13 rounds of the slightly smaller diameter .380 Auto fit easily. As such, I carry my mags loaded with 13 rounds without any problems, although the instruction manual says 12 is the max. Anyone else carry 13-round mags? If so, have you encountered any problems?

Both of my mags hold 13 rounds and run flawlessly.

Thanks good info for us newbies.

I don't carry mine but both mags run fine with 13.

That's fantastic if you don't live in a State with mag capacity restrictions. I have a CZ83 in .380 ACP and need 10 round magazines. Anyone know where I might locate some? Thanks!
