Hi guys, just ran across a used TSO orange in .40 at a local shop for $1,300. I put it on hold since it looked like a great price at first glance but thought I’d double check here.
Should this be an absolute buy at this price or is it pretty much par for the course?

Seems good to me. When I was looking last year 1,600 new and 1,500 used.

Thanks, yeah that’s kind of what I was thinking based on what I’ve seen but haven’t come by too many used ones lately.

How many rounds through it? What year was it made? Check the barrel lug for signs of wear and micro-cracks.
If everything’s okay, $1300 is a nice price.

It was an 18 but looks like it had a decent amount of rounds through it. Noticed the inside of the magwell was pretty dinged up from mag changes and some light holster wear. I’ll get back and check the barrel lug as well, that’s a great point. I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s seen at a minimum 10k rounds through it.

These pop up for around $1,500-$1,600 every so often on a few sites including gunbroker. I personally wouldn't pay $200 less for a used gun that likely has thousands of rounds through it. I would offer $1,000 as a fair price or just save up the extra $200-300 and go new. Plus the new models comes with the better mag release and shadow 2 style safety.

Another dealbreaker is if it’s local how much is the tax, something can be a deal and then that kills it....
