Most reviews on the RAMI go on and on about how thick they are. Are they thicker than a PCR or P01? I've seen some pics, but cannot imagine them being thicker than a P99C for example.
I know that they are NOT based on the 75, but on the 40B, and I'm not all that familiar how thick the frame is.
I know many folks prefer just going to a P01 or PCR because of the size and grip. Thanks.

RAMI is 1.25" thick. The PCR/P-01 is 1.38" thick.

...Yes, the RAMI is thicker than the PCR. I haven't measured the difference but it's there, you can feel it. Personally it's not a problem, kinda like a Scarlett Johansson vs Margot Robbie scenario :-)

Spec measurements include the controls which are fine.
How thick is the Rami frame/grip? How thick the PCR frame/grip? P01 frame/grip (which I assume is same as the PCR)? Thanks.
I honestly don't care about controls that much. Reviewers harp too much on controls. Thanks.

I've held a RAMI B in a LGS and it felt somewhat chunky but I wouldn't say it's obnoxiously so. I think maybe some aftermarket G10 grips would rectify most people's concerns. The BD model might also count as a little bit thicker due to the decocker but I would ignore that. I measure the frame.

Not counting the grips, the RAMI BD frame at its widest point is (1.100). Like the PCR the RAMI frame is slightly wider than its slide. Including the decocking lever the width is around (1.280).

Not that it's much of a factor but the RAMI hammer is significantly thicker, I'd guess 2-3mm or so...

I held, considered, and ultimately passed on buying a Rami several times since I fell down the CZ rabbit hole. Just wasn't that impressed and I didn't care at all for the "chunky" feel. And then. . .
A few weeks ago I traded into a Rami BD for a deal I couldn't pass up. I figured I'd shoot it a little just to try, then move it along to a new home. Well, so much for that, I'm a believer now. I think the Rami has to be shot to be appreciated.

You always hear people say just get the PCR/P01 but there is a considerable size & weight different between them when you use the correct 10 round magazine in it.
That said, if someone doesn’t have a P01/PCR they should get one as well, just don’t overlook the fact that the Rami is a subcompact vs the other two being compacts.
As was already mentioned, the little Rami needs to be shot for it’s true excellence to be measured. It’s not until you shoot the Rami that you see just how good it actually is.

OK, so now you are tempting me: please tell me more about how the rami shoots and compare it to the PCR/P01. Why does it seem so good?
(I am not a big fan of the hypercurved trigger on these, but I know that can be remedied).

I can’t answer that as I’ve never measured them, but they do all take the same double stack magazines.

Yes the frame width is the same but the Rami is thicker above the trigger guard and under the beaver tail. It's chunky. It's barrel is shorter as is the grip (sub compact).
I can't say it shoots better than the P01 but mine is a shooter. I'd put it up against any sub compact auto out there. If I conceal carry the Rami is it.

The thickness of the RAMI actually appeals to me compared to other subcompacts. That said has anyone handled or compared the RAMI against other subcompacts that they liked too? How about the PPK or XD as examples.

I probably carry the RAMI 8 out of 10 times to the P01 [emoji2373]
