What is the new CZ logo vector of? Is that center supposed to be a handgun or some kind of letters shaped like a handgun or what. Or just some young graphic artist's goofy design ??? and they dont represent letters at all in the shape of a hand gun? Looks like "C U 3"
Inquiring minds want to know.... :o

It’s a handgun inside of a barrel. The U and the B are represented but I’ve never been able to figure out if there is a C and a Z in there.
-
This topic was discussed recently in another thread. Yes, you have the basic idea, except what you see as a 3 represents a B. As I stated before, IMHO the logo is awful. And this new members post proves why it is awful. Just a total fail of the visual branding of a product for marketing purposes.

They had to create a new logo to be able to trademark it and protect it in international commerce.
-
There are FOUR (4) letters that make up the logo: C Z U B
The U and the B are for Uherský Brod, where the factory is!

I like the new logo. It's never confused me at all.

I still don't see a "Z" in that logo. Only the "C", "U" and "B". Does that makes this the official pistol of the Chicago Cubs?
-
I can not see the Z either.
-
No Z for me either .........:(
.
-
Maybe the "Z" is silent?
-
the Emperor's New Z?
-
new logo is a bit cartoon-ish. old logo more stylish.

Some people might not know this, but CZ two-stroke dirt bikes used to be dominant in the "golden age" of motocross racing in the 1960s to early 1970s.
I highly recommend "On Any Sunday" (1971) as a cool old-school documentary about that era (with a short cameo of Steve McQueen participating in enduro races under an assumed name, as he commonly did). There also are a few scenes of vintage CZs. "On Any Sunday" is very much in the same vein as "The Endless Summer" but for dirt bike racing instead of surfing.
So if you want vintage-style CZ logo stuff (T-shirts, stickers, etc.) you might want to type in "CZ motocross ______" (fill in blank with what you'r looking for) and you'll get links from vendors.

I used to own a CZ Jawa.
Built like a tank. Had a neutral between 5th and 4th specifically for “coasting down mountains.”

I remember them well. Had so much low-end torque you could use the rear wheel of a CZ to dig an irrigation ditch. I rode a Honda Elsinore 125 back then.

The old logo is vastly superior, it is clean and easily identifiable. Do not care for the new logo at all.
