Hey all,
I am having trouble with the grip screws coming loose on an sp01 shadow with thin aluminum grip panels. Do folks just use a little loc tite, or tiny lock washer?
Also wondering, if I wanted to keep a few extra grip screws on hand, what do you guys recommend?
Thanks for the help.

A little blue loc tite should be plenty (I prefer the solid version, looks like a glue stick).
And I believe the thread size is M3.5-0.6 x 6mm long, but don't quote me. :P

Small orings will keep them from loosening and you won't risk stripping the head or threads with loctite.
Im not sure what size is ideal. LOK grip's come with them, they may sell them separately?
Cheers,
Toby

Thanks guys.
JonNC, it looks like the thread size you noted is correct.
tdogg, I see the o-rings on the LOK website. Inside dimension is 1/8" and outside is 1/4". Maybe I can grab some at the auto parts store.

Go with the O rings. You should be able to get them at almost any reputable hardware store.

The o-rings I am using are marked as size 006

eastman,
Where did you buy them?

I buy o-rings from Jet Gasket & Seal through their eBay shop.
