Picked this up from a widowed lady today. Original magazine and appears in good condition. All functions check out as they should.

Welcome, from the markings, your pistol was manufactured in 1987 and has the crossed swords military acceptance stamp (in case you didn't know).

Thanks JHP, I noticed the same sword mark on the magazine. I shot two magazines, 24 Silver Bears through it this afternoon. Surprisingly accurate and functions live ammo without a hitch. After viewing some pics of other 82's, I observed that the slide must have been refinished at some point? I examined the internals and appears very little wear.

Very nice. Mine is one my favorite to shoot.

Yours looks like it has been refinished. A lot of these milsurp 82's have holster wear but are mechanically rock solid. Some guys refinish their own but I wanted a nickel finish so sent mine to Ron at Mahovskys Metalife. Can't wait to get it back.
