Does anyone here have any experience with these? I enjoy my 92fs, so when I ran across a 90 Two at my favorite G&P today I was intrigued. The price I can get it for is, in my opinion, very good. It's no safe queen but, with some springs, a "fluff 'n buff" on the inside and some love on the outside it would be pretty decent.
I do like the dovetailed front sight and the standard steel trigger. Not sure about the one piece grip though. The aesthetics of it would take some getting used to compared to a 92. I read that they supposedly have 13 fewer parts than the 92, but I don't know what they are. I suppose the grips and screws would account for six of them, lol.
Any thoughts?

I've only handled/shot one, a .40 S&W.
It's big. It is slick looking and feels good in my hand.
It has been reliable.
It just hasn't shot with the P07 or P09 when it comes to shooting small groups.
Even though it's a .40, the standard 9MM magazines seem to work will with the bigger round in them.
I'm not sure why they quit making them.

I agree - it did feel good in my hand. Folks must like them because I have found very few for sale. One theory is that they quit making them when the PX4 series came out, and then they applied some of the "upgrades" from the 90 Two to the M9.

I've only seen pictures of a 90 Two, but I do own an Italian 92fs and a PX4 Storm.
Am I missing something or does it seem to me that the stock grips were designed buy the same guy/team who developed the impractical Teflon-slick grip texture for the PX4? Are the 90 Two grip panels even changeable?

The only thing you can change is the entire one piece grip - from the standard size to a slimmer one. Talon grip tape made a huge difference on my PX4 subcompact. I'll have to see if they make them for this.

The grips on the 90 two reminds me alot of the pattern of grip that is fitted to the LIW Vektor SP series of pistols. Looks like the Italians liberated south african tech after the south africans liberated italian tech when they made the Z88 pistols.

I went ahead and bought the 90 Two - it was just too good of a deal to pass up. Brought it home and spent a couple hours cleaning it up, doing a "fluff 'n buff" on the internals and swapping in a 19# 1911 mainspring. The next day at lunch I snuck out to the range and put 50 rounds through it. All in all a nice pistol - reliable, accurate and a bit softer shooting than the FS.
But, it reminded me of why I've sold every tupperware gun I've bpught over the years. I just don't like the feel of the all plastic grips. Even with Talon grips or other enhancements. So I sold it to a coworker for a couple hundred more than I paid for it. He still got a decent deal, and it was a fun experience for me.
