I have a rough mockup of a redesigned evo mag release that I would like to get printed.
I've found with the factory and most aftermarket its not easy to reach the mag release with the trigger hand without having to readjust your grip or use the trigger finger to hit the mag release.
My thought is a plate (attaches to factory release) that would extend the mag release almost parallel with the trigger, riding along side the bottom trigger guard. If that makes sense. It would enable the user to keep the trigger finger in the ready while using the middle finger to push down to release the mag and not have to adjust grip.

What would you need to produce the part? Measurements, photos or the actual part? I assuming making a simple plate to attach would be more feasible then printing the entire mag release with the new part integrated into it.

The easiest for me would be a solid model. The slicing software takes an STL and makes it into GCODE for the printer to make the part.
