Title: Holster for uspsa
Post by: Thefixercz75 on October 15, 2019, 06:23:14 PM
Hello everyone, does anyone know if the gcode rti quick change setup is ok to use in uspsa production gun class? I’m worried it sticks the gun out to far past the 2” limit. Any input would help me out before I buy a system. I’m looking at this system so I can change from a few different guns I own. Thanks for the input.

Sorry, without a picture of the holster and gun on somebody’s waist its hard to say for sure.  I don’t have any personal experience with the G-code nor do I recall ever seeing anybody at a match using one.

For Production division, the measurement is 2 1/8” (or the width of an overlay) from the inside of the inner belt.  You also have to make sure the heel of the gun is not lower than the top of the belt.

I use a BOSS hanger.  FWIW, it only takes a few minutes (5 screws total) to change it from one holster to another.

For 3-gun I went to the QLS Safariland system, more for the ease of being able to unclip the holster for stages I don’t need a pistol.  But I put a QLS clip on a second holster in case I wanted to shoot my P10C instead of 2011. I’d have to measure the offset distance, but remember thinking at the time it’d be fine for Limited Division (3 3/8”).  I didn’t measure it with Prod in mind.

Ok thanks for the info, from the photos and YouTube videos I’ve watched with people using them it looks like it’s way to far out. The boss system is another mount I was thinking about. Thanks again
