Hi fellow member,
I want to start out by saying I love CZ products and I own a Scorpion Evo 3 pistol and a Bren 2s 9" pistol in 7.62x39. I heard from my CZ rep to hold on to the Bren 2s I have for collectible purposes because no more will be imported. Therefore, I was curious if any members know how many of the Bren 2s' have been imported?
Best Regards,
Sneakyhenry

(I don't have any source so what I am typing is just my thought.)
I am sure more will be imported, but when, we will never know. My reason, 1. The first 300 were imported last year and we thought that was it. 2. There are 7.62 X 39 in different barrel lengths from DL supplies on gunbroker for the past couple of weeks. " unless those were the early 300, which I really doubt". 3. It is CZ, it is $$$ $, CZ will always have some contract that ends up unbalance. By this, I mean where supply ends up more than demand ( remember the P01 OD green), so unless our law changes, CZ will be more than happy to dump surplus stuff on one loyal US importer imho. 4. Most CZ rep doesn't have a clue, just like cz as a whole don't either.
** I am in no way saying your piece won't be valuable or appreciate in $$$$, just saying thinking it will never be imported might be over-exaggerating the situation***

Hi Best Sale,
My CZ rep lead me to D&L Shooting supplies to get my Bren 2S in 7.62x39. I had called D&L in the middle of September and ordered one via the phone and got it for $1900 bucks + pistol brace. I asked D&L if these were from the original 300 and he said yes, they were just back logged in inventory for quite some time and never brought out. Now they're on gunbroker. Don't ask me why, just what I was told. According to my CZ rep, D&L Shooting supplies is a huge facility so I can see why/how this will happen. Furthermore, I've been looking a youtube videos and other threads and most people who have the Bren 2s' at least who are on forums and are discussing the topic mostly have the 5.56 versions. However, this of course is subjective.
Either way I don't really care, I just love the style of the Bren 2s much better than the Bren 2Ms. If I wanted to employ an full length carbine I'd want a the Ms though but for know my light pistol version is perfect for my needs.

The S model was just 300, the MS is the actual import item.
-
I gotcha, I thought their might have been more but after listening to Mishaco and MAC, it seems you are correct their are only 300. I hope at one point they import more. I have one in 7.62x39mm and I'd love to have an additional one in 5.56. Although, I could just get the 5.56 conversion (when it comes out in a few years) too I guess.

I ordered a Bren 2 MS 8" 5.56 yesterday from Grabagun. Should be delivered next week. So they are starting to come in--in numbers.
-
Thanks for the heads up Lima26.
I'll have to look them up.

Gave my buddy the same info and he ordered from Grabagun and then his ordered was cancelled. He then called and asked why and they said there was a mix-up with the distributor on inventory. He mentioned my order and they said my unit was in-stock in their warehouse. They also divulged that 433 orders have been placed and cancelled in the last year (for an 8" 5.56) and they were only able to fill one order. He was also told the distributors were only getting small lots at time (less than 30 units).
Guess I'll go buy a lottery ticket tonight.
Subscribe to their inventory notification and act quickly when you get the email. That how I got mine.

I’m in no rush I have a Bren 2s 9” in 7.62x39 which is an amazing gun. Really, all I need for the 6 Mlok slots is heat shields and I’ll be set. I have a holoson on it and it’s working very well. I’d really like another 2s in 5.56 but I’ll definitely do a 5.56 in 2Ms if I have that option.
Congrats on getting one that’s awesome. I really wish someone would do a video or a blog about the differences on the Bren 2s and Bren 2Ms.

Military Arms Channel talked about the differences. From what I remember it is: Reciprocating CH, Bolt Release, and Forearm. Otherwise, innards are the same.

Hi Lima,
I might not have specified clearly. I want to know what the difference is between the Bren 2s and the Bren 2Ms. I already know what the difference is between the 805 and Bren 2.

Found a shop in NC that has a couple in stock, if you're interested!

Found ANOTHER source! ;D

He even sells 'em in CA, for those who need to know such considerations.

The MS is starting to pick up speed here in the US...FINALLY! ;D 8) Now...now the wait for the carbine...
-
I'm really hoping for FDE models in 2020. But I probably won't be able to wait that long.
-
Did they say they would offer a Bren pistol or carbine in FDE? I would assume they might do a variety of colors because that's what they did with the scorpion. I believe the Bren carbine will really take off as the scorpion did, therefore, I think we got a real shot at new colored (FDE, OD Green, Battleship Gray, Desert Tan, etc.) Brens.
