Title: Roni CAA PDW conversion kit for the 07 & 09
Post by: ARP on October 27, 2019, 02:13:45 PM
Anyone try one yet? I heard about them a few days ago and decided to take a look. For those who don't know much about them it is a way to turn your 07 or 09 into a braced pistol. Called as a CAA tactical brace and the site I was looking at was www.yrsinc.com

It appears that the product is mainly targeted toward the Glock market, however they make a version for the 09 and 07. There is a video there that gives an overview of how the product works, pretty neat. Anyone have one or tried one with your 09 or 07? IF I was looking at the correct item, looked like $349 for the kit. Offers several options for lights and sights. The down side that I thought of was magazine capacity. Of course with Glock you can buy 30 round stick mags for the pistols. Unsure if CZ offers anything like that.

Imi does, it's called the kidon and it works exceptionally well with the p07 and p09. Polymer80 sells them in the us(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20191027/e503e15a28f8cce11802a081fc5635c3.jpg)

My concern with these types of kits, particularly for plastic pistols, is that the chassis where your optic is mounted is bolted on to the frame rather than the slide. I feel like putting pressure on the chassis, such as by resting it on a sandbag or gripping agressively, would cause the POI to shift.

Has anyone out there who owns such a kit tested whether or not this is the case?
