I’m curious as to how many members carry while at work? I’m lucky enough to work for a pro-gun company and know for a fact that a few other employees as well as the owner carries daily. That said this is the first position I’ve held where this is possible and wouldn’t end in termination

Not allowed to carry at work. Hospitals don’t allow it. I’d guess because of the canisters of Oxygen. I don’t know.

I work in a Hospital too. Lot's more reasons than just oxygen saturated areas. I work in a children's hospital, sadly one of the biggest issues is abused children needing police protection. Another is baby/infant protection. The armed officers must know at all times who has a firearm and is part of protection staff. Nonuniform Executive protection is never allowed in patient care areas without first contacting on duty uniformed protection staff. I'm one of the system admins and senior techs for Access control, CCTV, and alarm systems. Currently running an over 4500 camera system and 2400 plus card readers across all of our campuses and remote sites. keeps me busy.

Most of us carry at my work.
We have to remind everyone to be safe during “show and tell”.
-
I can but I don't/won't. I do however have it in my vehicle. Just not practical or comfortable to have even the smallest handgun on my person when working.
-
It's prohibited at my work, but several of us may or may not carry. 8)
The owner does for sure. Funny how that works. "Rules for thee but not for me."
-
We are not allowed to carry “on campus “. Our X VP said in the car is okay as long as it isn’t visible.
I know many who ignore the rules and I have no problem with anyone doing such. I’d rather see an armed employee take out an active shooter than die obeying the “rules”.

In my state, employers cannot legally prohibit having a gun in your car, though they've tried.

This is true where I live and work too. They can legally prohibit them on the grounds, but not in a personal car.

Don’t you park “on the grounds” ? In our employee handbook the “campus” is the entire property owned by the company...which in our case includes the parking lot.

Many states like Minnesota have laws that don't allow businesses to include parking areas in the company policies.

They don't own my car. In my state, it doesn't matter what they put in their handbook. VW tried it and lost in court.

Yes, but the State has legislated otherwise so they changed their policy regarding personal cars on the grounds.

Prisons get kind of wiggy if you try to bring so much as a pen knife inside, weird how that is. However, we have a provided gun locker out front where staff can check in and out personally owned sidearms to carry to and from work.

I carry all day every day.
-
I carry all day everyday including at work. That said I work for a very small company, just me and the two owners and one of them carries daily, the other has a gun in his desk.
-
At work, the published policy is that open carry is not allowed in the building. O.K., I guess concealed carry is permissible? ;) ;)

That would be my interpretation. :)
