Title: Faux suppressor removal tool
Post by: Cohenj87 on December 24, 2019, 08:48:36 PM
I hate the fact that the No Osprey faux suppressor loosens and there isn't really anything you can do about it besides tighten it. Got an email from HBI today saying their micro K bull barrels are back in stock so I snatched one up. Was a little bummed though that the faux suppressor removal tool is out of stock. Is anyone on here willing to ship me theirs so I can remove mine and I will send it back? Also what do you guys think the micro barrel and faux suppressor can fetch?

I will pay someone to borrow it, I don't know how long I'll have to wait for the HBI tool to be in stock to buy and don't want to wait potentially months to do my barrel swap.

There was a thread posted a few months ago about possible items to use as removal tools before HBI made one. If you warm it up or even take it out and shot it, it shouldn't take much to remove.

I don't want to scratch it up or damage it at all so I can resell it. From my experience with unscrewing things from this gun I'm for sure waiting for the tool either to come available or someone on here loan me one.

Used the end of my ar wrench, didn’t leave a mark.I don’t plan on removing mine until my stamp comes back on my Osprey so I put a dab of lock tire on mine and tightened her up.

Cohej87 - on behalf of HBI... we have been known to loan out tools/parts/moral when asked :-)

If you need a tool to keep your "noosprey" faux suppressor tight, you should probably buy one. But, if all you need to do is remove it one time, please feel free to email or call us and we can send you a loaner tool with a return label :-)

I actually stopped by my local gun shop today and figured being they sell your stuff I'd ask if they had one and they have one for shop use and said they would hook me up! I really appreciate it though and love your products and I am on the notify list to buy one when available in case I keep the faux suppressor.
