Hi,
I have some questions about the recoil spring of the shadow 2 (optic ready).
Am i right that the original recoil spring weight of the shadow 2 OR is 17#?
I want to change the recoil spring to a lighter one. But what do you guys think is a good starting point?
I use 124gr S&B factory ammo, and the pistol is completely stock.
Im aware of the tutorial on cgw, but i'm looking for a good starting point.

I’m using an 11# recoil spring with my 124 Gr reloads at 130 PF for carry optics. I’d suggest start at 13# and keep an eye on the muzzle flip or dip and adjust the spring accordingly.

Thank you for your answer.
Do you have a red dot on it?
I haven’t (not yet), that will also make a difference I think.
Can you confirm that it its stock with a 17#?

Yes I have a red dot on my shadow 2. I believe the stock recoil spring was 16# iirc (I forgot since it’s been a long time).

Ok thank you. Ill start with a green 13# RS from CGW
and also add a reduced power trigger return spring to lower the DA.
