Title: Scorpion EVO Mags...
Post by: lsands45 on January 13, 2020, 12:27:11 PM
Does anyone make a translucent mag or one with round count witness holes and also has metal feed ramps?
I prefer 30-35 round mags.
Thanks

In my opinion palmetto's AK-v mags are the best mags available for the scorpion. They required a little sanding to drop free but they are around $15 each, 35rnds and come in many colors including clear and smoked and have metal feed lips along with a rubber padded bottom to help protect you mag when you drop it free.

Manticore mags have steel feed lips and mine are translucent smoke. So far 100% reliable. Got em from Prepper Gun Shop.

PSA mags, OD, black, smoke, clear
Lighting kind of sucks, tried to get the image to show both the color and the level of transparency

You want Manticore or PSA mags for transparency and steel reinforced lips.
Manticore mags have the steel reinforcements on the outside of the feed lips, PSA molds them inside the polymer.
Never used Manticores but they have a great reputation, I do run PSAs and they work fine although I had to file them a bit to get the BHO working reliably.

Thank you everyone for helping me out. It’s going to be the PSA in either smoke or clear for me. Would prefer smoke but they appear to be out of stock so may have to go with the clear.
Aside from dealing direct with PSA does anyone else sell them?
Is there any advantage to smoke vs clear and vice versa

Clear will show dirt quicker.

The only downside of dealing with PSA direct is that they have so man other interesting products, and eventually you WILL buy something you dont need because it is on sale... like for example, a toolcraft nickel boron ar15 bcg (I bought one on sale for a gun i didnt even have, and they are on sale again now!)
