Watch how he catches the decocking spring as he rotates the left side lever into place. The cool part stats at around (1:50).

Thanks for sharing! That was the one thing that I've had trouble with during reassembly.

Wow - I NEED to try that. I have a tool now, but that is megaslick!!!! (If it works - as displayed).

Well that is neat!

WARNING - one wrong move and it will slash up the nice finish on the P01 - NOT RECOMMENDED. Do it with the P07 - NOT the P01.

Did this on my P07 last night. Works well and forever changes how I reassemble the P07/P09s in the collection.

:o
works with P-01 Omega without single scratch. 8)

I do something very similar that I can’t remember were I saw basically put the decocker on while straight up and then use a polymer cleaning puck to very slightly separate left aid from frame to allow rotation and push back together. Never scratched a 75 omega and works well on the p07 etc. This may be even quicker though.

Again. One wrong move...
Can it be done with no scratch? Obviously. Can one wrong move put a ding I’m your finish? Yup.
