Friend at the range had told me about his early release Shadow 2 frame that cracked by the slide stop pin, so I checked mine to see if it had the relief cut that CZ added because of this happening, nope. :-\
Mine is not showing any signs of cracking, but my round count is still pretty low.
Just wondering how common the cracking issue in the frame is on the early release Shadow 2s?

I can tell you that I’m 99% sure if it did crack, CZ will take care of it.

I read about the cracking over a year ago, and it appears it's only been a handful of the early models that cracked. I have an early model that has about 2500rds through it, and its fine. There have been many early S2 models that have 20000+ through them with no cracking. If it was a problem, there would have been many more reported in the last year, and that did not happen.

Good to know, thanks!
