Hi I am new the group. I just purchased a older CZ Rami D (2008) Its looks in great shape with no wear marks except on the barrel. I have not been to range yet to try it out. I have no history on the gun. I am looking forward to take it along with my P-07 to compare it with. I do have one question. After doing a field strip I was surprised to see the firing pin block was different from my 75 and P-07. It looks to have a tab. My question is about the firing pin block. Has it changed since 2008? I looked on CGW and they show the standard firing pin block for the Rami. The manuel shows the firing pin block with a tab. Depending on how it shoots, I might replace the springs. I replaced them on my P-07 and it made a big difference.

My 2018 RAMI D has a round FPB Plunger. My CZ97BD has a odd round with tab FPB Plunger. I do not believe that there is a functional difference. Both types seam to operate the same way.
The round type seams to be more common. At least in the newer CZ pistols.
I am unclear why one year or model has one or the other. Hopefully another forum member can shed more light on the subject.

Edit: In my search I did find a difference. The FPB with a tab is called a firing pin block stop and the one without a tab is called a firing pin block plunger, but still do not know the reason or purpose for the difference.
