Title: Exciting new CZ
Post by: KnightSchneider on March 24, 2020, 05:02:52 PM
I wandered into my local gun store about a week before everything blew up with COVID19 panic, and saw something unexpected.  A matte stainless CZ75B with 2020 date code.  I’m a sucker for matte stainless, and it happened that I was kinda looking for one to match a matte nickel AK.  It came home with me, some Mec-Gar mags and a High Noon shoulder rig were quickly ordered.

It’s been a few years since I’ve owned a 75, but it’s the center fire I cut my teeth with, and it was like saying hello to an old friend.

I’m excited to be back in the 75B fold; the aesthetic and feel of the gun is superb...tugs at my heart strings.

Way to go double-d!

It’s a beauty of a pistol...I was smitten on first sight.  Once I saw it, I knew I had to have it to complete my set.

Here is my eastern bloc bling setup:

Atlantic trophy rifle series WASR10 in satin nickel and the brushed stainless 75B.

Nice matte guns.  I have a matte 75 and it sure looks best in person.  Glad you scored.

Great find. I like the matte SS look as well when done right.

Awesome!

Awesome to see that at least one grocery store sells CZs!  Right above the Avocados?

I had no clue they even made it in SS matte. None are listed on GunBroker.

I'm sorry but I think I hate you!!

For some reason, the matte stainless 75B and the Beretta 92FS Inox  look absolutely gorgeous to me. While polished stainless has its own charm, I just prefer the matte look.

I like your Eastern Bloc loadout too, KnightsSchneider! Both those guns go together well with their matte bling looks, even though the history dork in me is saying  "The Soviets didn't use the CZ-75." :D

I agree. I like the polished stainless but the matte is more appealing to me.

I'm going for a Balkan conflict zone thing...and not too technical....I just like both guns!

Nice find! I'd love to come across one of those. I much prefer matte to polished.

Hey, that works too!

How did you get that faint bronze color on your WASR? Cerakote or duracoat?

It's a matte nickel plate....Atlantic has their trophy rifle series...it's a smooth operating gun.

I didn't even know that Atlantic did those style of rifles. Pretty cool to find that out.
