Title: Let's see some gun porn!

Rmach-i just sold my high polished 75b, will miss it but needed funds for the Bren. Someday I'll get another one. Beautiful pistols

I’ve sold a couple here and there to fund others too. The two little ones are both Tanfoglio GT27 25acp pistols.

Lol. I literally just got home from selling the two little pocket pistols in the bottom left of the picture to help fund the restoration of the one in the bottom right of the picture next to the polished chrome compact. :D

Ended up getting rid of it once I stumbled across a blued 97B. A buddy of mine bought one the same day where the lgs had 3 of em. He still has his that I shoot every once in a while. No issues with his and almost makes me want another one lol

I’m only 1.5 hours from Houston so I may take you up on that! :o My brother and I like to visit Athena Gun Club every so often and shoot full autos. I hope to be able to make a stop by Lohman Gunsmiths in Houston too once things settle down. I have one pistol I’d like to have restored and another reblued.

Great collection! I have that same model top left one and it is my prefered choice for home battles that have been breaking out a lot these past few weeks with the kids and myself!

I have 6 & 2 year old boys at home and when I’m off they beat up on dear old dad too. We need to enjoy this time while we can because soon enough regular everyday life will take that extra time back. ;D

Introduced in 1990, the S&W 3913NL is alloy frame with stainless slide and features the up-swept dust-cover that differentiates it from standard 3913. Weighs 25oz with magazine (unloaded)
8+1 9mm although it can be fitted with the 9+1 mag from the 3906.
Novak low-mount sights, bobbed hammer, Decocker
IMHO one of the best metal hammer-fired single-stack DA/SA pistols ever.

Excellent quality pictures! I really like the SP-01 TAC in black. Wish mine was not FDE sometimes. My picture I posted makes it almost look orange, which it is not. You have the Match Champion grip in need!

Really nice condition. I have a milsurp 94 Transitional and it’s in decent condition. Only changed the trigger pin and installed an MCARBO trigger spring kit.

Love the two-tone S&W. An unusual combination with the blued slide and stainless frame. Sweet!
The little Colt and the 25ACP cartridge I believe were both based off John Browning's 1908 Colt Vest Pocket and his earlier collaboration with FN Herstal the FN model 1906. Really nice piece of firearms history and although under-powered by today's standards they were very well made. Thanks for sharing.

Another favorite of mine. This is an PSAK and it has performed perfect for many years. The P320 Tac Ops 9mm was sold off a while back when I parted ways with the P320 overall. This was taken during a fun day at the range despite rain.

Some of yall may have missed my thread on this one. This is a WWII nazi bring back given to my father-in-law by his dad before he passed away. He took it off of a nazi LT. Wish I could have had more chances to talk to him. He served in WWII, Korea and two tours in nam.

Thanks! My favorite among the S&W 3rd generations (including a couple of the TDAs) is the 3914 DAO. It’s one of the ones supposedly cleared out from the S&W inventory in 2014’ish.

The S&W variants ordered as DAO have surprisingly smooth action and made it basically the same manual of arms for LE to transition from revolvers to semi-autos back in the day. Their reliability, accuracy, and extreme durability, have withstood the test of time and many are still going strong with 10's of thousands of rounds!

The finish is teak oil. The scope is a Sightron 10-50x60. I attained Expert class with this rig. Lots of fun!

It a cheap Rem 700 barreled action in a McMillan A-4 stock. I refer to it as a cheap imitation of an M-40 rifle. I think the era would be just prior to 2000. It is chambered in 308 Win and has a Sightron scope and Harris bipod.

This rifle was humbling to shoot after shooting my other rifles because it is so crude/basic? It never shot very well with the factory barrel and action and I have a vintage action from the correct period and a Bartlein barrel for it, but just haven’t had time to get it installed yet.

Oh yeah, all paint work done by me. I understand all the snipers did their own rifle painting so each one was unique.

I guess I'm just a trigger snob now. My P10C being the worse trigger now if that says anything. Even before I got to pick up the TSO I bought a used Dan Wesson ECO. It was 45 and the trigger is just a hair better then even the TSO but obviously it's used for a different purpose.

Thanks. The Czechmate is the most accurate among the three pistols. It has almost similar trigger pull at 1# 3.6 oz compared to the TSO’s 1# 3.2 oz. it’s the best one to shoot especially with the new adjustable thumb rest. It has a bigger pad compared to the TSO’s.

On another note, I’m glad all the matches were cancelled for this month. It gave me a lot of time to test various powders for use in open Major. So far, I have tested CFE Pistol, AA7 and silhouette. I like the AA7’s recoil impulse and feel so I’ll be using that for my major loads; 10.4 Gr of AA7 with 115 Gr PD JHP at 1.165-1.167” OAL for the Czechmate.

It's a lot of gun and a hoot to shoot. A 1911 on steroids.
For those of us that like 45ACP it is surprisingly agile at only 33oz and 1.3" width across the grip for 15+1 capacity. The controls are 100% ambi for shooting or dropping mags with either hand. And the ambi DA/SA safety operates like a 1911 if you want to run SA cocked/locked or push down to decock DA 1st round like a CZ, SIG or Beretta. It has excellent SR night sights that are lower 1/3 co-witness BUIS with the Venom Red-Dot.

IMHO a really well-thought combat pistol designed to compete for the US Military handgun contract. Probably too expensive and they wanted 9mm for NATO ammo compatibility.

Glad they let civilian market get it. O0

I took an 18" Mossy 590 and swapped to a Shockwave grip, pull strap, talon grip wrap, and added a TLR-4 laser/light so it shoots very accurately from the hip in close quarters. My bedside companion.

The loading gate is great when I'm running a suppressor. I can reload through the gate and when I'm done shooting, remove the can and dump the mag tube from the end. Best of both worlds. Accuracy is excellent, as with every Henry rifle I've tried. The giggle factor gets very high when shooting a 200gr Keith style bullet loaded for 750 to 800fps. Super quiet and you can hear the bullet hit the back stop. I've killed several raccoons with those slow heavy bullets. If I'm careful I can get 2 or 3 before the rest figure out what happened. Using a full charge magnum load using a 180gr Swift A-Frame JHP, I've taken 20 or 30 feral hogs and 2 Axis deer.

Thanks DenStinett. The P-01 is my second favorite handgun. I recently purchased the S-2 SA/DA, but converted it to SAO using CGW S-2 kit and flat trigger minus the disconnector. I am waiting on the grips from Lok to arrive, but when they come in, I will post a picture. Still trying to get used to posting pictures on this forum. ;D

I am very happy with this rifle so far. Perfect, consistent 3 o'clock ejection (I fired 100 rounds sitting at a bench and all of my brass was in a neat 1'x1' area, made clean-up a breeze). Rifle seems well gassed, but I am adding an adjustable gas block from Superlative Arms so that I can have it tuned perfectly when running suppressed. Without a can the gun seems perfectly gassed with the factory gas block.

Accuracy is impressive. Was pulling sub 2" groups at 100yds with PMC Bronze .223 with a 3x magnifier and red dot combo.

Very lightweight. Gun without light and stuff weighs 5.6 lbs unloaded. I love the barrel profile (Enhanced Lightweight), as it starts out thick and gradually tapers to the muzzle. Makes it very pointable.

I really like them usually grips I've tried are to thin for me but with these I feel are raised just enough to fit my hand

I briefly considered buying a suppressor ready holster but then that would mean I would have had to use it and carry a pistol with a can attached and that's just a bridge too far for me. ;D

Now for some ugly gun porn. One of those Masterpiece Arms .223's. Heavier than an AR15. Won't shoot with even the worst AR15's I've got. Jams every 3 or 4 rounds (stove pipe that gets hung up in the receiver with the round the bolt is trying to feed). Is a real job to get the handguard off and back on without it contacting the barrel (multipiece steel set up that comes apart/off with screws). Ordered two. Only one came in. Glad the second one didn't come it.

That is pretty neat, i have studied the Pedersen device, but i do not believe that i have noticed the ejection port hole in the left side of a 1903 before. From what i have gathered, if the Pedersen device had seen service it might not have run real well. An impressive engineering achievement none the less. Too bad that they destroyed most of them, i would like to tinker with one.

There were a couple other differences as well, maybe the sear and another. Those were supposed to have been removed from the Mk1's when the government decided to put all the devices and ammo on a ship, tow it out into the Atlantic Ocean and sink the ship to insure the civilians never got their hands on any of those scary things.

What I like about the XD is consistency with my CZs, M&Ps, FNS, Colts, etc., etc., etc. Same motions/action to fire it.

They are sort of rare. I looked at the Powder River Precision web site for a trigger kit for it. Only one of the four seemed to be meant for that pistol. I ordered it. I got it and spent some time during 2 or 3 sessions trying get all the parts to fit. Got some in/working. Stoned others for clearance issues (thinner), fiddled with it, parts in, parts out, finally contacted PRP. They were surprised that their text/description on their website had missed that they had no kit meant for the XD model with thumb safeties and told me they would refund my money and I could send the kit back. I told them I'd used some of the parts, polished some of the parts and was fine with what I had.

They changed their description/text that day (it was a weekend, too) to specifically say the kits would not work with the thumb safety XD pistols and still sent my money back to me. I used that money to buy a partial trigger kit for another XD. Funny, the pieces I managed to put in the .45 resulted in a better/nicer feeling trigger pull than the kit I bought for the other XD did for that pistol. More polishing maybe??

Every time I field strip that .45 I chuckle at the thought of people complaining about the recoil springs in CZ pistols. That .45 XD recoil spring is similar (in feel when trying to get the guide/spring back in the slide) to messing with a recoil spring on and M1 Garand or M14. Never have had a pistol with a recoil spring like that one.

This here is its younger brother, a Swiss G11. This one's in 7.5x55 Swiss, and takes these wax-impregnated cardboard-like, metal reinforced stripper clips to feed the 6 round detachable magazine. Pictured with an original service sling and a Swiss 1889 bayonet:

I picked this up for my brother's church group..Okay, okay.. It's not as bad as that sounds! My brother's church formed a shooting group a year or two ago. I went to one shooting event, and got acquainted with everybody. So, I decided I'd bring something 'fun' for them all to play with. (Of course with proper instruction to anybody choosing to shoot it, because I detest the folks all over Youtube who hand inexperienced shooters large caliber firearms with zero instruction whatsoever just to ultimately laugh when they inevitably hurt themselves):

Trusty ol' smoke pole. Mossberg 500A. This shotgun has actually seen a rather interesting life. It began as a "Cruiser/Persuader" model, with the interchangeable pistol grip only and polymer stocked configuration (back when I knew..less.. about firearms). I added the factory heat shield, a wooden stock with some tiger stripe, and the wooden forend, along with a Mesa Tactical cartridge carrier. One day while out hog hunting with an old friend, said "friend" stored my shotgun muzzle-side down inside of a very muddy/filthy truck's floorboard, while I rode on an ATV behind the truck back to the house (all on private property).

As we approached a venomous snake in the road, I had asked for my shotgun, and had some Winchester Super-X 00 Buckshot loaded into it. Unbeknownst to me, however, this shotgun which I previously knew to be in perfect condition when handing it to the fellow, now had a bore obstruction. As soon as I fired, I felt a piece of metal nick my shoulder, barely scraping me. After the landowner, and my friend hopped out of the truck to find out what had went wrong, the landowner was standing right next to a copperhead, previously unseen by any of us, as it must've slithered out from the bushes. As the snake was all coiled up, looking like it was about to strike, I dropped my Mossberg, drew my then concealed carry (a Glock 19), and was lucky to have planted a freedom seed into the cranium of said snake before it decided to plant its fangs.

Back to the shotgun, however.. The barrel had split, but only towards the muzzle-end. I credit the heat shield for helping keep it together and from doing more damage than it did. After some months passed, a forum member of a different forum offered to sell me a new barrel, which he re-finished from a blue to a parkerized finish for me, and that's where it currently sits. With a new barrel, and the same heat shield that has some battle scars (from other pieces of barrel hitting it at high velocity):

The M1As. One on the bottom I bought in 1978. Upper one is newer. Fine deer rifle (both, but the one on the bottom has killed more). The old Bushnell 4X12 with BDC on the bottom one has held up for thousands of rounds through the years. Back in the 70's they were made by Bauch and Lomb and sold by Bushnell. Unbelievably bright/clear. Done a couple night fire exercises with it years ago. No issues with it either night. And no lights either.

The FN 509T triggers can be spotty but the Apex trigger kit cleans that up nicely. I love my CZ P-10 series pistols but the FN 509T is also a superb striker fired pistol. I interchange between the two makes quite a bit but if I had to pick one, I'd probably go with the FN due to how well built the pistol is.

You can relieve some material from the inner magwell to use current mags also.

Let me see if I can find the DIY instructions, it's not a difficult thing to do.

Same frame with a 4" OR slide with ported barrel I built up (how it's carried now).

Same frame with a Shield .40 S&W slide on it. Shoots as good as the 9MM slides/barrels. Needs a dot optic though. Yeah, modified some 9MM Shield Plus mags to feed .40 S&W. Succes with the 10 and 13 round (hold 8 and 10 .40's). Still working on the 15 round (hold only 11). It's a geometry thing, they just aren't wide enough to give you the same "2 less than a 9MM magazine" you get with the bigger/wider framed pistols).

Same frame with a .40 slide and threaded/compensator installed .357 SIG barrel. Uses the same modified mags. for .40 S&W. I need to pick up another .40 S&W slide so I can leave it as a built up "upper" assembly. Also shoots pretty good.

My latest project was building up a 5" .40 S&W slide for a 2.0 FDE frame. I highly recommend KKM Precision barrels if you want to turn a gun around. This one was another stripped slide I bought all the parts for and built it up. Best shooting full sized M&P I've got now (out shoots two M&P PC guns I've got.)

All the M&Ps are project guns. So easy to find/buy extra slides, internal parts, etc. Almost like an AR15. Sort of build up what you want. If you find you don't really like it you put part of it away and build up something else.
