Title: Marking Rami self defense recoil spring? If so how mark?

Seems a lot of people use different set of recoil springs in Rami for practice vs. self defense. I believe a good idea given somewhat short life span of this part. But my concern is how to tell practice from self defense recoil spring. Is there a way you mark recoil spring? With paint? If so what type of paint? thanks.

I keep similar parts differentiated by putting them in marked plastic baggies
