Title: Borescope example knife blade and fingernail file (video)

I have one suggestion.  Don't ever get locked down with a new borescope and some used firearms!  You can drive yourself crazy!

I decided to view something that wasn't cylindrical and inaccessible to get a feel for how much of my anguish was just lighting and color versus something real.  So I removed from the little mirror from the Teslong borescope, and aimed it at a small Swiss pocket knife, first at the knife blade, and then at the fingernail file/screwdriver blade.  Here is the result.

All of the pistols I have now shoot well.  The bullseye pistols are exceptionally accurate.  They also look like a war zone when viewed with a borescope.  I think I am just going to start looking for obstructions of size similar to the groove depth instead of carbon and copper streaks less than a 0.1 mil thick.

I may also quit pulling patches/brushes/vfg pellets back through the bore towards the chamber and pulling material up that will fold back down on the first round after cleaning.  I'm never worrying about original machining marks either as long as the gun shot well to begin with.

Here is a YouTube playlist where I have put the pistol bore and knife blade videos I've produced over the last few days.

I have a lot more problems with my trigger finger than I ever have had with a pistol bore.  Dirty chambers and .22 rifle bores, sure, but not pistol bores with jacketed bullets.  The borescope simply provides me with more detail with the requisite harsh LED lighting than I know what to do with.
